Wedding Photos that Tells the Story

For most, the perfect wedding photo constitutes you, your spouse and whichever location you’ve chosen, but what really makes it special and truly meaningful is when you are able to experience the same feeling you did when you took that very wedding photo.

Wedding photos are more than just a memory. It stores the moment in it – the emotions, thoughts and everything you loved about your spouse.

So how, then, does the photographer really capture all that in your wedding photos?

It’s about the genuineness of that moment when the camera’s shutter first closes. In spite of feeling the inevitable jitteriness in wait of your wedding day, you and your spouse should put all that away and instead, enjoy the marital bliss that is to come. Allow your true emotions to flow through the camera lens.

Put on a smile and enjoy your wedding day. Learn to let go of all that anxiety and to truly soak in the exuberant environment. Furthermore, you and your life partner are the ones who are the stars of the moment, so don’t fret about how things will turn out – that’s what your wedding planner and friends are for.

Be optimistic and remind yourself that it’s about you and your partner. Relive the moment when you first fell in love with him/her. Look into his/her eyes and know that you’ll spend your lives together constantly renewing your love. Let these thoughts shine through amidst the mixed emotions you might be feeling. Let your wedding photos do the talking at the end of the day.

Don’t trust yourself to coordinate any logistics; you’ll tend to appear stressed that way.   So put everything physical away and let your inner self pour out to the camera.

Finally, it’s vital to get comfortable with the camera. Even if you’re camera-shy, drown out those fears with positive thoughts. Connect with the photographer as you do with your partner. Be generous with your facial and body expressions.

More importantly, ignore your photographer! As rude as that sounds, it’ll ease the awkwardness quickly. His presence is to help you capture your wedding photos, and bring out the essence of your wedding day.

Even without anything fanciful, it’s possible to have great wedding photos that will store these moments to last your lifetime. It takes a while to warm up to the photographer, but when you have; you’ll appreciate your wedding photos at the end of the day.
