What to wear for my Wedding Photos

Wedding photos are often taken to emulate the sense of happiness and camaraderie that a newly hitched couple strives to achieve. It is a click of a button, a snap of a moment that captures the sense of fulfillment that will forever be evident for future generations to look at. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance for a bride and her bridegroom to look their best for the wedding photos to come out beautifully.

Many couples tend to have overzealous concepts for their perfect wedding photographs. Some have even dreamt of it ever since they’ve watched a close relative walk down the aisle. However, wedding photos should reflect the personalities and inherent qualities of a couple, and they should never be ignored for the allusion of a “perfect” aesthetic.

Often times, it is always the bride that would have the most obstacles in finding that perfect wedding gown. However, that’s not to say that the guys have no problems at all. Sure, there could be some difficulty to finding that perfectly fitted merino suit or the matching lapels, but as everyone knows, the wedding photographs is mostly about the bride, and how she would look like.

As a result of this, there is always the added pressure for the brides to look good in their wedding photos. Parents and relatives and bridesmaids all have their opinions as to what the bride should look like. Ultimately, at the end of the day, the decision is up to the bride herself as to what her wedding gown would be, and how comfortable and confident she will be, in carrying herself.

It is worthy to note that the personality of a bride should shine through in the wedding photographs, and as a result, one should never wear a gown that completely suffocates such personality. If a bride is of a subdued nature, then she should never wear a bombastic gown that screams out loud. Instead, opt for a simple strapless chiffon gown that complements such nature, whilst at the same time, bringing out the features of the bride. For a more powerful impact, accessories with bejeweled drop earrings to avoid a boring get-up. As for shoes, opt for simple pumps the color of the gown, and always have spare ballet flats so that one could dance the night away.

Therefore, wedding photographs should always show the personality of the couple, and often times, this is dictated though whatever the newly-wedded couple is wearing.
